Ryan Campus ICT Strategic Technology planning is in place at Ryan and is aimed at placing the school at the forefront of ICT education in Queensland. The ICT facilities at both campuses include a wide variety of technologies designed to engage students and act as a rich resource in assisting with their learning. Students have access to valuable information from a diverse range of sources and are able to learn interactively in a multimedia environment. The extent of the College ICT facilities includes: - The College wireless network providing complete coverage for both campuses
- Over 520 computers installed, delivering a ratio of better than one computer to every four students.
- All primary classrooms have their own networked computers:
- 2 each in Prep; 4 each in Years 1-4; 6 each in Years 5-7 - Each room also has its own scanner and printer. - Data projectors have been installed in 25 senior classrooms
- 50 Interactive whiteboards with full multimedia capabilities have been installed across both campuses
- 13 on the Junior campus - 12 in the Ryan campus primary school - 23 in secondary classrooms - Ryan and Junior Lift Off departments also have their own - A Macintosh lab used in our Film and Television course
- A Science KLA pod of laptops available for student use in the Science labs
We now have 9 computer labs and 4 mini labs which are used by classes on the Ryan campus. In addition to this, there are computers available for student use in both the Ryan and Junior campus libraries. With both campuses being fully networked, students now have comprehensive access to network software applications, student storage locations, email, the internet and the College intranet. 
Ryan Campus Sport Ryan boasts extensive sporting facilities. There are three outdoor ovals, with playing fields and designated grass running track. The College also has a large covered area for team games such as Netball, Volleyball or Basketball.
Students also have access to several outdoor Tennis, Basketball and Netball courts, which are shaded for sun-safety. Our newly-developed Gym has recently been equipped with an extensive range of machinery, including weights, rowing machines and exercise bikes. Specialist Teaching Areas In addition to air-conditioned classrooms, Ryan provides extensive specialist facilities for the teaching of particular disciplines.
There are five Science laboratories, used by Science classes, with facilities for practical experiments and up to date equipment to ensure the highest standard of tuition for our students. Our Music classroom is equipped with a class set of individual keyboards, headphones and a wide range of musical instruments. In addition, there are four sound-proofed individual Music practice rooms.
Our Performing Arts students enjoy the use of a specialist classroom and teaching area which comprises a teaching space and small stage equipped with basic lighting and sound technology, as well as The Mary MacKillop Performing Arts Centre. The latter is a state-of-the-art facility opened in 2005 to enhance our Performing Arts programme. The centre can cater for up to 500 people, or 200 in table settings. The centre is equipped with sophisticated lighting and sound technology, as well as catering facilities and provides our students with an outstanding performance venue. Hospitality students at Ryan enjoy the use of a commercial standard kitchen with an extensive range of utensils and catering equipment. Our Food Technology Centre houses two fully-equipped cooking areas, as well as a teaching area which converts to a formal dining room for training purposes.
Ryan also boasts Wood and Metal Construction workshops in which our students are able to learn on the latest equipment within a safe environment. Our technology teaching areas are well-established with the latest in welding, construction and woodwork tools, both hand-held and electric.
